My parents moved to Canada from Lithuania when I was still a baby. They moved because "Ghaak" was such a bizarre name in Lithuania, and they wanted to try to find a place where I could grow up to be a normal well-adjusted adult.
That never made sense to me, though - why didn't they just not name me "Ghaak"?
